Place the bushing (1) and the chuck (2) over
the cable.
Bushing (a) with reducing sleeve (b):
8.0 - 15.0 mm [0.315" - 0.591”]
Bushing (a):
15.0 - 20.0 mm [0.591" - 0.787”]
Prepare the cable as shown.
Cable O.D.: 8.0 - 20.0 mm [0.315" - 0.787”]

Wire size: 4 mm (AWG 12)
Insert the wires into the terminals and fasten
the clamping device with a screw driver
(POZIDRIV # 1).

Max. torque 0.5 Nm (0.37 lb-ft).
Slide the chuck (1) onto the insert.
Important:
Align the chuck by positioning the nose into (a)
the recess.

Step A: Place Bushing and Chuck

Place the bushing (1) and chuck (2) over the cable, noting specific bushing diameters.

Step B: Prepare Cable

Prepare the cable by stripping it to the specified length and noting the cable O.D. and wire size.

Step C: Insert Wires and Fasten

Insert wires into terminals and fasten the clamping device with a POZIDRIV® #1 screwdriver to 0.5 Nm.

Step D: Slide Chuck onto Insert

Slide the chuck (1) onto the insert, aligning it by positioning the nose into the recess.

Step E: Slide Insert and Chuck into Housing

Slide the insert and chuck (1) into the housing (2), paying attention to the guiding keyway.

Step F: Fasten Bushing

Fasten the bushing with a 1 1/16" (SW 27) fork wrench to a maximum torque of 3.5 Nm.
