7-MAINTENANCE
Removaloftractorfromstorage
Tractorswhichhavebeenplacedinstorageshouldbecom-
pletelyservicedinthefollowingmannerbeforeusing:
1.Inatethetirestotherecommendedpressuresandre-
movetheblocking.
2.Checktheoillevelintheenginecrankcase,power
steeringreservoir,thecommonsump(forthehydraulic
lift,transmission,andrearaxle),andtheoptionalfront-
wheeldriveaxle.
3.Installafullychargedbatteryandremovetheexhaust
coverifotherthanaraincap.
4.Checkthecoolingsystemfortheproperlevel(50/50
solutionofantifreezeandclearwater).
5.Starttheengineandallowittoidleafewminutes.En-
suretheengineisreceivinglubricationandthateach
controlisfunctioningcorrectly.
6.Drivethetractorwithoutaloadandchecktomakesure
itisoperatingsatisfactorily.
