Why is my Nikon Digital Camera battery not charging when inserted in the camera?

If the battery isn't charging when inserted in your Nikon Digital Camera, check that all plugs are correctly connected. Also, ensure that 'Charge by computer' is not set to 'Off' in the setup menu. If charging via computer, charging stops when the camera is turned off or if the computer is suspended (sleeping). Note that depending on computer specifications, charging may not be possible via computer connection.
