  Poor water pick-up by your Nilfisk-Advance Floor Machine can stem from several issues: * Worn or torn squeegee blades: Reverse or replace them. * Misadjusted squeegee: Adjust it so the blades evenly contact the floor across their entire width. * Full recovery tank: Empty the tank. * Leaking recovery tank drain hose: Secure the drain hose cap or replace it. * Leaking recovery tank cover gasket: Replace the gasket or properly seat the cover. * Debris in the squeegee: Clean the squeegee tool. * Clogged vacuum hose: Remove the debris. * Excessive solution use: Adjust the solution control valves. * Foam filter cover unseated: Properly seat the cover.
