Scratchpad Memory
In addition to its 97 permanent memory
locations, the phone has one short-term
memory location (00), where a telephone num-
ber keyed in during a call is temporarily stored.
The number is cleared from memory when the
phone is switched off.

Key in a number during a call. The phone will
automatically store the number in the
scratchpad memory location 00 when you
end the call.
Any information previously stored in the
scratchpad memory will be erased.
To move a number from the scratchpad memory
location to a permanent memory location:

Recall it from the scratchpad memory by en-
tering 00#. Once the number is on the dis-
play, you can store it in a permanent memory
location if you wish:

Press , so that the text (Call) is changed
into text Save and then save it into the
memory simply by pressing (Save).
(When the location 00 is not in use, the phone’s
SIS security reference code can be checked
there. The reference code is used by the NMT
network to register your phone.)
