Here are a few basic instructions about using
your new Nokia 540 phone:
1 Attach the battery to the phone.
2 Connect the charger to the bottom of the
phone.
3 To switch the phone on/ off, press .
To make a call:
4 If your phone is within the network service
area (if the O symbol appears on the display),
you can make a call.
5 To make a call, key in the desired phone
number (including the area code).
6 Press (Call) to make a call.
7 Press (End) to end a call.
To receive a call:
1 Press (Answer).
To correct keypresses or to clear the entire display:
1 Press .
