7. COMMON LAYOUTS
Unified UI style is achieved by a similar layout, as well as by the same method of interaction in the different
applications.
Certain graphical issues, e.g. title and margins, are easy to define for most common layouts. The visual design of
applications which require special layouts needs to be dealt with case by case.
7.1 List view

A normal list view has a title with a 3-pixel margin and an application area with 20-pixel margins. A list view usually
has a selection list component and, optionally, a search box.
7.2 Snaking list view (Application Groups)
A snaking list view is a list view with two columns, and is used mainly in Application Group views e.g. in Control panel
which has lots of smaller ‘‘sub-applications.’’
