• PIN code request—to set the radio to ask for your PIN code every time the radio
is switched on.
If you enter an incorrect PIN code five times in succession, the code is blocked,
and you must enter the security code to unblock the PIN code.
• Configure access levels—to change what kind of access rights are required for
certain functions. You must enter the configuration code for this function.
• Access level—to change your access level (Extended or Normal), which
determines what kind of access rights you have. You must enter the access
level code for this function.
• Change of access codes—to change the PIN code or the security code. See
Access codes on page 19.
You should avoid using access codes similar to the emergency numbers, such
as 112, to prevent accidental dialling of the emergency number.
Display settings
Select Menu→Settings→Display settings, and select one of the following:
• Wallpaper—to set your radio to display a background image, known as a
wallpaper, when the radio is in the standby mode. Your radio supports JPEG,
GIF, WBMP, BMP, OTA-BMP, and PNG formats, but not necessarily all
variations of these file formats.
To select a wallpaper from Gallery, select Select wallpaper. To activate or
deactivate the wallpaper, select On or Off, respectively. The wallpaper is not
displayed when the radio activates the screen saver.
