Failure of Refrigeration
Failure of refri
eration does not necessaril
indicate
that the coolin
s
stem is defective. Other factors
ov-
ernin
its operation must be checked.
If the refri
erator is operatin
on
as and loss of
coolin
is noticed, switch the refri
erator to the AC
mode of operation. If the refri
erator has been operat-
in
on electric, switch to
as operation. After the refri
-
erator has been switched from one power source to the
other allow several hours to assure the refri
erator is
c
clin
properl
. This will determine if a component
failure in the electric or
as controls is causin
the
coolin
fault. If no coolin
is evident after ei
ht hours
or overni
ht
, the cause of failure ma
be the coolin
unit. To determine the actual cause, contact
our dealer
or a Norcold authorized service center.
