  To recalibrate the incline system on your NordicTrack Treadmill, hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button, insert the key into the console, and then release the Stop button and the Speed increase button. Next, press the Stop button and then press the Incline increase or decrease button. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level. If the incline system does not begin calibrating, press the Stop button again, and then press the Incline increase or decrease button again.

  If your NordicTrack Treadmill's power turns off during use, there are a few things you can try: * Ensure the power cord is properly plugged in. If it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. * Remove and reinsert the key from the console. * Regularly clean the treadmill, keeping the walking belt clean and dry. To do this, turn the power off and unplug the cord. Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding spraying liquids directly onto the console. Dry thoroughly with a soft towel. * If the treadmill still doesn't run, consult the front cover of the manual.

How to fix NordicTrack Elite 2500 Treadmill walking belt slipping?

  If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill slips when you walk on it, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each edge 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat these steps until the walking belt is properly tightened.

Why won't my NordicTrack Treadmill turn on?

  If the power does not turn on for your NordicTrack Treadmill: 1. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. 2. If using an extension cord, it should be a 3-conductor, 14-gauge (1 mm[2]) cord no longer than 5 ft. (1.5 m). 3. Make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. 4. Check the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If it protrudes, the switch has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in.

How to center walking belt on NordicTrack Treadmill?

  If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is not centered between the foot rails, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the walking belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn; if the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill.

How to turn off demo mode on NordicTrack Treadmill?

  If the console displays on your NordicTrack Treadmill remain lit even after you remove the key, it means the display demo mode is activated, which is designed for store displays. To deactivate it, press and hold the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, see step 7 on page 25 to turn off the demo mode.
