1. Use the nut (1) and lock washer (2) to fasten the float switch (6) to the
base (5). See Figure 1.

2. Check the float switch to make sure the small embossed triangle is on
top.
3. Use the two flat-head screws (7) to attach the shield (8) to the base.
4. Use the pan-head screws (3) and lock washers (4) to fasten the
switch to the pump pan. See Figure 2.
