Follow this procedure to prepare for installation.
WARNING: Hot! Risk of burns. Wear heat-protective clothing,
safety goggles, and heat-protective gloves. Hot melt material
may be released forcefully.
1. Drain all adhesive from the tank and disconnect main air supply.
WARNING: The melter contains energized electrical
components with potentials that could be fatal. Disconnect and
lock out input electrical power to the melter before proceeding
further.
2. Remove the pump cover.
3. Remove the electrical enclosure lid and the front and rear covers.
4. Remove the screws holding the pump pan to the tank cover.
5. Clean the tank of all debris; then remove the pump, pan, tank cover,
and gaskets.
