Step 5:
Check the stability of the tractor and machine combination. To do this, extend the arm of the machine
to maximum horizontal reach with the tool held at 1 metre above the ground (gure 2.17).

The balance is correct if the tractor does not lean over on the left side, it is important that the right rear
wheel retains weight on the ground (left hand build machines). (gure 2.17)
The distribution of weight should be approximately 15% of the total weight of the tractor and machine
remaining on the right rear wheel. (Left hand build machines).
