If the tractor/cv is moving in reverse and meets an obstacle, there is a potentially damaging load
placed on the arm
1
(gure 2.23 and 2.24).
When all of the impact load is transferred to the orientation cylinder rod the shock absorber
assembly
2
pivots and absorbs the excess load on the cylinder rod. The spring
3
is then further
compressed.(gure 2.24).
The arm shock-absorber reduces the risk of future failures.
The arm will return to it’s original position immediately.
The replacement of the shock absorber assembly can only
be carried out by a NOREMAT technician.
It is under high pressure.
