Limitations
The Nova Max Test Strips give accurate results when the follow-
ing limitations are observed:
• Theteststripsshouldnotbeusedtodiagnosediabetes,DKA,
or to test newborns.
• Eachteststripisforsingleuseonly.Donotreuse.Useanew
sterile Nova Max Plus Test Strip each time you test.
• Yourteststripsareforpersonaluseonly.DONOTsharewith
others.
• Useonlyfreshcapillarywholeblood.Do not use serum or
plasma.
• Thereisnoeectonbloodglucoseorß-ketonevaluesfor
altitudes up to 10,000 feet (3000 meters) above sea level.
• RefertotheOwner’sGuideforoperatingtemperaturerange
for the monitor.
• Extremesinhumidity(higherthan90%andlowerthan10%)
may aect results.
