Storage
Unpacking Blower
When unpacking the blower or blower
package from the skid, verify the packing list
matches the product supplied and that no
visible damage has occurred during shipping.
In the event damage has occurred, rst le a
claim with the carrier and then contact NVE
for assistance.
Keep all intake, exhaust and ballast ports
covered to prevent accidental ingeson of
materials into the blower.
Handling
Use an appropriately sized li strap for liing the blower. Thread two 1/2-13 UNC
x 4” LG grade 8 bolts into the ange holes as shown.
Preservation
Keep all intake, exhaust and ballast port coverings in place to prevent debris or
liquids from entering blower. Reapply rust preventave oil to all metal parts,
including the compression chamber every 6 months or more frequently if the
relave humidity is greater than 80%.
While in storage, rotate the sha three to four revoluons every two weeks to
keep gears coated in oil.
Before installing a blower that has been stored for any length of me, remove
the intake and exhaust covers and inspect the rotors and cylinders to insure the
absence of rust. In addion, remove the oil ll plug on drive oil tank and inspect
the gear for absence of rust.
