Clean Out Procedure if Flooded
1. Remove the inlet lter, exhaust silencer and ballast silencer.
2. With high pressure water, clean intake, exhaust and ballast areas.
3. Have an assistant slowly turn the input sha as you clean the lobes with water.
4. Run the blower at the lowest speed possible and connue to spray water into the
inlet of the machine unl the discharge shows only clean water.
5. With the blower running, spray a small amount of penetrang oil into the intake and
run unl no liquid comes out the exhaust. DO NOT SPRAY OIL INTO THE BLOWER
WITH THE SILENCERS IN PLACE.
6. Disassemble and clean the manifold/4-way valve assembly. Allow to dry then reas-
semble.
7. If the blower was ooded, it is highly probable the exhaust silencer has material in it
as well. Clean it out as best you can. Drain all uids from the silencer and allow it to
dry.
8. When everything is clean and dry, reassemble the manifold and
silencers. Make sure ange bolts on the blower are ghtened evenly.
