Vacuum/Pressure Changeover Valve;
As needed.
• Remove screws which secure the bonnet or top to the valve body. Alternate
screws as you loosen them to keep the spring evenly compressed.
• Pull up on the handle, removing the inner workings of the valve. Note the
position of the handle in plug for later reinstallation.
• Generously lubricate the inside of the valve casing and the inner workings of
the valve.
• Making sure the o-ring is in place on the top of the valve housing, replace the
inner workings in the same position they were removed.
• Tighten the four fasteners in an alternate manner to maintain even pressure
on the spring during compression.
• Work the valve handle back and forth several times to ensure free movement.
