4. Remove and discard the battery cover O-ring with a non-
marking tool (Fig. 5). Do not use metal tools.
5. Carefully separate the battery contacts with a plastic tool
(Fig. 6). Do not bend or damage the battery terminals.
6. Carefully lift the battery out of the housing (Fig. 7).
CAUTION
Properly recycle or dispose of the original battery in
accordance with local regulations.
