ASSEMBLING THE OIL PUMP
1.Lubricate：
·Oil pump inner rotor
·Oil pump outer rotor
·Oil pump shaft
2.Install：
·Oil pump housing“1”
·Oil pump outer rotor“2”
·Oil pump inner rotor“3”
·Oil pump shaft“4”
·Oil pump housing cover“5”
3.Install：
·Pin“6”
·Oil pump driven gear
·Washer
·Circlip
TIP
When installing the oil pump driven gear，align the pin in the oil pump shaft with groove”a”in the oil pump
driven gear.
4.Check
·Oil pump operation
INSTALLING THE OIL PUMP
1.Install：
·Oil pump assembly
Oil pump screw 10N.m
NOTICE
After tightening the screws，make sure the oil pump turns smoothly.
CHECK THE STARTER WHEEL
1.Check
·Bearing
Damage/wear→Replace
2.Check：
·Starter clutch idle gear
·Starter wheel “1”
Burrs/chips/roughness/wear→Replace the defective part（s）
3.Check：
·Starter wheel’s contacting surfaces
Damage/patting/wear→Replace the starter wheel.
CHECKING THE STARTER CLUTCH
1.Check：
·Starter clutch operation
a.Install the starter wheel“1”onto the starter clutch“2”
b.When turning the starter wheel counter clock wise“A”,
the starter clutch and the starter clutch wheel should
engage， otherwise the starter clutch is faulty and
must be replace.
c.When turning the starter wheel clockwise“B”，it
should turn freely otherwise the starter clutch is
faulty and must be replaced.
