Paper clamp mechanism (See Figure 3-12.)
When the release lever is pushed to the open position, the release link rotates in a
counter-clockwise direction. The release shaft, which is engaged with this, rotates in a
counter-clockwise direction at the same time. A clearance is created between the pressure
roller and the platen through which sheets can be inserted.
