3 USE AND MAINTENANCE
3.1 INTERNAL UNIT CONTROL PANEL (g. 27)
The pressure gauge, control panel and master switch are accessed by opening the front panel door.
The panel (g. 27) includes the following devices:
A Pressure gauge. Displays the hydraulic system pressure, enables the water pressure inside the circuit to be checked. Values
must be between 1 and 2 bar.
B Control panel
C Internal unit master switch
D Front panel fastening screw
3.1.1 Description of control panel (g. 28)
Led A: used when temperatures are displayed
Led B: decimal point
Led1: ON (yellow)
Led2: cooling (green)
Led3: heating (red)
Led4: pump on (green)
Led5: current/past alarm (red)
Led6: additional heater (yellow)
Led7: timer activated (yellow)
Led8: domestic water production active (red)
Led9: ECO mode active (green)
Key1:
up arrow; to scroll menu or modify displayed value
Key2:
down arrow; like ey1 but in opposite direction. Press together with ey1 to quit the current menu
Key3:
select cooling/heating/domestic water production only
Key4:
conguration menu. For accessing user or service menus
Key5:
temperature/set menu. Press this button to access the temperature values. Press the arrows to select the required
value and ey6
to view the value. To set the temperatures press ey6 for three seconds and the
arrows to change the value; press ey6
to conrm. Quit the menu automatically by not pressing any buttons
for 60 seconds or by pressing both arrows simultaneously
Key6:
For viewing the parameter value, modifying its setting (by pressing for three seconds) and conrming the new
value
Key7:
Enables or disables the second set-point CS2 in cooling or HS2 in heating to save energy.
Key8:
Press this button to switch the unit on or put it in standby
3.2 ACTIVATION AND USER FUNCTIONS
3.2.1 Activation (g. 27, 28)
See gure 28 for the LEDs and buttons on the control panel.
To activate the unit, proceed as follows:
• Power the internal unit and the external unit using the master switches.
• Activate the internal unit’s panel using the switch (g. 27 ref. C) on the control panel
• Press ey8
on the user interface to switch on yellow LED1 and green LED which shows the circulation pump
is activated. The operating mode is then displayed: CLG for cooling mode, HTG for heating and San for domestic water
production.
• Press ey3
to select the operating mode; on rst pressing ey3 cooling mode is activated and the green
LED 2 lights up
, then heating and red LED 3 , and nally domestic water production and LEDs 2 and 3 switch off.
Press ey7
, to activate Eco energy saving mode; when the green LED 9 is on, Eco mode is active
3.2.2 Temperature/set menu
The temperatures measured by the internal unit probes can be checked and viewed and the water set-points set on the control
panel (in the temperature/set menu).
The temperatures and set-points that can be viewed on the display are:
• t1 entering water temperature
• t2 leaving water temperature
• t3 domestic water tank sensor temperature
