The duration of the action is dictated by system characteristics. Legionella bacteria react differently depending on the maximum
temperature reached in the circuit. The higher the temperature, the shorter the duration.
The control signals the anti-legionella function is running by displaying LEG and exits the function after a maximum of 5 hours,
if for some reason the temperature is not reached inside the tank.
In the event excessive DHW is tapped off during the anti-legionella cycle and the temperature is not maintained, after two
attempts the control exits the function. When the anti-legionella cycle is not completed two consecutive times, alarm A8 is
displayed.
While the anti-legionella function is running, the system’s cooling or heating functions are interrupted when the disinfection
cycle is carried out by the heat pump and the electrical heater elements (parameter LdA0). On the other hand, the heating
or cooling function is not interrupted if the anti-legionella cycle is carried out by an electrical heater element in the domestic
water tank (parameter LdA1).
To prevent scalding if tapping off hot water during the disinfection cycle, it is advisable to install anti-scalding safety devices
on each utility and at the domestic water tank outlet.
FROST-PROTECTION
The internal unit’s brazed plates exchanger is protected against freezing by a ow switch, which stops the system when the
water ow is insufcient, and by two temperature sensors on the plate exchanger, which stop the system when the water
temperatures are too low
CLIMATE CURVES (g. 29)
To optimise energy saving, two climate curves are available: one for heating and one for cooling. This function enables the
water temperature to be adjusted to the outside air temperature and therefore to the heating load, optimising system energy
saving.
The curve is enabled in heating by setting parameter Hcc1,
The climate curve is set using four parameters:
The climate curve is set using four parameters:
Hc1 outside air temperature to have maximum water temperature
Hc2 maximum water temperature
Hc3 outside air temperature to have minimum water temperature
Hc4 minimum water temperature
The curve is enabled in cooling by setting parameter Ccc1,
The climate curve is set using four parameters:
Cc1 outside air temperature to have maximum water temperature
Cc2 maximum water temperature
Cc3 outside air temperature to have minimum water temperature
Cc4 minimum water temperature
See g. 29 CLIMATE CURVE HEATING Hcc and COOLING Ccc.
Do not modify parameters CHS, rtF, Adr and FPt; tKey are factory set parameters.
3.5 SETTING THE SERVICE MENU PARAMETERS
Use button E4
to access the Service menu, pressing it twice displays SEr for Service
Once the service menu is selected, press E6
, to display the password request (PAS); press info/set and 00 displays,
press info/set again for three seconds and 00 ashes, then enter the PAS and press info/set to conrm. Press Menu to display
PAS and use the up and down arrows to view all parameters in the user menu. Press the info/set button again to view the value
of the parameter; on pressing info/set again for three seconds the value on the display ashes and can be modied using the
arrows ey1
and ey2 , press info/set again to conrm.
Press menu to exit and the arrows to select another parameter.
Proceed in the same way for the other parameters.
Quit the menu automatically by not pressing any buttons for 60 seconds or by pressing both arrows ey1
and ey2
simultaneously.
Example:
1. Press ey4 twice to view SER on the display
2. Press ey6
, to view PAS on the display
3. Press ey6
, to view 00 on the display
4. Press ey6
, for three seconds, the value 00 ashes on the display
5. Press ey1
or ey2 , to increase or reduce the value displayed
6. Press ey6
, to conrm the set value, the display stops ashing
7. Press ey4
, to exit, PAS is displayed
8. Press ey1
or ey2 , to view a parameter. The mnemonic symbols of the parameters appear in sequence on
the display. Stop at the parameter to be modied
9. Press ey6
, for three seconds, the parameter value ashes on the display
10. Press ey1
or ey2 , to change the parameter
11. Press ey6
, to conrm the set value, the display stops ashing
12. Press ey4
, to exit, the mnemonic symbol of the last parameter on the display appears; restart from point 8 to
modify another parameter.
Press ey1
