Top menu [MODE MENU] [CAMERA] [DIGITAL ZOOM] [ON] / [OFF]

1 Pull the zoom lever toward T.
• The white area of the zoom indicator
indicates the optical zoom. If the
[DIGITAL ZOOM] is set to [ON], a red
area is displayed on the zoom indicator.
When you reach the limit of the optical
zoom, the digital zoom is enabled.
• The [DIGITAL ZOOM] does not function
when the monitor is turned off.
Note
• You can use the optical zoom while recording movies in n mode by setting [R]
to [OFF].

•In n mode, the maximum magnification possible for digital zoom is 3×.
