LOADING THE BATTERIES
This camera uses four AA (R6) nickel metal hydride batteries,
AA (R6) lithium batteries, AA (R6) alkaline batteries or AA
(R6) NiCd batteries.
Do not use manganese batteries; they may overheat and
destroy the camera.
● Read “BATTERY HANDLING” on page 28.
1 Slide open the battery compartment cover.
2 Insert the new batteries correctly as shown and close the
battery compartment cover tightly.
3 Slide the cover closed, pressing . Do not push the
edge of the cover.
◆ Make sure that the lens barrier is closed and the
power is off before loading the batteries.
