If the auxiliary water channel is used for feeding water, never
disconnect the auxiliary water tube during an examination;
leave it attached until the endoscope is precleaned. If the
auxiliary water tube is detached before precleaning, water
remaining in the auxiliary water channel may be spilled on
the surrounding equipment. This could cause damage to
and/or malfunction of the equipment.

Inspection of the endoscope position detecting function (for

If the endoscope position detecting unit is turned OFF, turn it ON. Inspect the
“scope model” as described in the position detecting unit’s instruction manual.
The scope model may not be displayed depending on the
endoscope’s position. Operate the endoscope position
detecting unit as described in its instruction manual.
