5 Menu operations and functions
1 Input the character string you want to register into the title input box.
For details about inputting, see "Inputting a title" (P. 44).
2 Select [ENTRY] and then press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
A list of preset titles is displayed.
To cancel preset title registration, press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick left to close the list screen.
3 Select [EXECUTE] and then press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
This displays the title you selected on the LCD monitor.
Selecting a preset title for input
With this procedure, you select a preset character string and use it to input a title.
For information about how to register frequently used text strings, see "Registering a character
string as a preset title" (P. 45).

● The preset title list has five pages. To change pages, select the text string in line 1 or line 10 of the
currently displayed page and then tilt the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick upwards or downwards.
Registering a character string as a preset title
After you register commonly used character strings to favorites, you can recall them when you are
inputting titles. You can register a maximum of 50 character strings to preset titles.
NOTE
1 Select [PRESET] and then press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
This displays a list of preset titles. To cancel preset title selection, press the [MEAS/ENTER] joy-
stick left to close the list screen.
2 Select the preset title you want from the list and then press the [MEAS/ENTER]
joystick.
The text string you select appears in the title input box.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to complete input of the title.
