4.3 Transportation of the Endoscope
Transporting Within the Hospital
When carrying the endoscope, hold the Control Section in one hand and hold the
Distal End of the Insertion Tube securely, but lightly without squeezing, in the
other hand as shown in Figure 4.10.

Transporting Outside the Hospital
Transport the endoscope in the Carrying Case.
• The Carrying Case cannot be cleaned or disinfected. Clean
and disinfect or sterilize the endoscope before placing it in
the Carrying Case. Disinfect or sterilize the endoscope again
before use.
• Attach the ETO Cap when transporting the endoscope, to
avoid damage caused to the endoscope by changes in air
pressure.
4.4 Disposal
When disposing of this product, or any of its components, follow all applicable
national and local laws and guidelines.
