Follow these important guidelines to
prevent batteries from leaking, overheating,
burning, exploding or causing electrical
shocks or burns.

Takeprecautionswhencarryingorstoring
batteriestopreventthemfromcomingintocontact
withanymetalobjectssuchasjewelry,pins,
fasteners,etc.
Neverstorebatterieswheretheywillbeexposed
todirectsunlight,orsubjectedtohightemperatures
inahotvehicle,nearaheatsource,etc.
Topreventcausingbatteryleaksordamagingtheir
terminals,carefullyfollowallinstructionsregarding
theuseofbatteries.Neverattempttodisassemble
abatteryormodifyitinanyway,solder,etc.
Ifbatteryuidgetsintoyoureyes,ushyoureyes
immediatelywithclear,coldrunningwaterand
seekmedicalattentionimmediately.
Alwaysstorebatteriesoutofthereachofsmall
children.Ifachildaccidentallyswallowsabattery,
seekmedicalattentionimmediately.

Donotuseabatteryifitiscrackedorbroken.
Ifabatteryleaks,becomesdiscolored,deformed
orbecomesabnormalinanyotherwayduring
operation,stopusingthecamera.
Ifabatteryleaksuidontoyourclothingorskin,
removetheclothingandushtheaffectedarea
withclean,runningcoldwaterimmediately.If
theuidburnsyourskin,seekmedicalattention
immediately.
Neversubjectbatteriestostrongshocksor
