Using earphones
If you connect commercially available
earphones to the microphone/earphone
jack(
) of the voice recorder, you will be
able to listen to the audio during recording
and playback.
Use the +/ button to adjust the recording
monitor volume.
Earphones are not supplied with this
product.

Connect the earphones to the voice
recorder’s microphone/earphone
jack ( ).
To microphone/earphone jack
Changing the volume will not affect
the recording level.
There will be no sound from the
speaker when the earphones are
connected.
NOTE
To avoid unpleasantly loud sound, set
the volume to [00] before plugging in
the earphone.
To prevent feedback, do not place the
earphone near the microphone while
recording.
Avoid excessive volume when listening
to playback through the earphones. It
may cause hearing damage or loss.
If the volume is set too loud, a warning
screen may appear.
Battery life depletes quickly while
recordings are monitored. To conserve
battery life, leave the earphone
disconnected while recording.
If the [Anti-Rustle] function ( P. 41)
is enabled, you may sound like an echo
during monitoring the recording.
If you cannot hear sound even after
connecting the earphones, set [Select
Jack] to [Earphone].
