Vaporization of the prostate and intrauterine broids
WA22557C only:
• Use only electrodes compatible with vaporization (see
table in the chapter “General Information”).
• Adjust a cutting current of 280–300 W for vaporization.
• Move the electrode slowly. This will result in a smooth
surface.
• Place the patient’s head in a slightly elevated position.
This will prevent the collection of airbubbles in front of the
resectoscope.
