4.1 Preparation
Attach the telescope
• Insert a compatible telescope through the telescope
channel of the working element.
• Make sure that the connector pin clicks securely into
position.
Select the resection electrode
• Select a compatible resection electrode.
CAUTION!
Risk of damaging the instrument
When attaching the electrode, make sure not to push it too
forcefully into the working element. Otherwise the electrode
may be damaged.
WARNING!
Risk of injury to the patient and/or user
When attaching the electrode to the working element,
make sure that the electrode clicks into position audibly,
and check the locking and position of the electrode as
described below. If the electrode is not attached securely
to the working element, spark discharge may occur and the
instrument may be damaged.
