3.11.3 TELEMETRY(OPTIONAL)
Thisoptionalinterfaceboardallowstheremotecontroloftransmittersandsystems(ofany
type)manufacturedbyOMBviaLANorInternet,inparticulartheEMDIGPLUSseries.
In order to allow control of the system on which the board is installed, an IP address
compatible with the user's LAN must be specified and accessible on the transmitter.
Alternatively,that IP addresscan again beassigned to astatic public address withInternet
accessthroughtherouterandusedforremotecontrolfromanyexternallocation.
Inthefuture,thisboardwillalsoincludeamodemfortheconnectionofGSMdata(afeature
stillunderdevelopmentandnotcurrentlyavailable).
The board is programmed with the same firmware for all types of devices and directly
“interfaces”withthecontrolcard(CPU)withineachsystem,allowingacontinuousexchange
ofinformationabouttheoperatingparameters.


