Even after I insert the
unit in the ear, the "0"
mark is not displayed.
Replace the probe
cover with a new one.
Is the probe cover
dirty?
Clean the infrared sensor
with a cotton swab.
Is the infrared sensor
dirty?
Remove the earwax
with a cotton swab.
Is your ear stuffed with
earwax?
If you insert the unit in
the ear and press the
switch, you can
measure in 1-second
mode. However, you
cannot use the
"Directional Mode" in
this condition.
The temperature of
the main unit is 34°C
(93.2°F) or above.
