8 IO-Link Master Unit Communications Setup
Place the Sysmac Studio online, and transfer the project data to the controller.
When transferring a user program, configuration data, setup data, device
variables, or values in memory used for CJ-series Units from Sysmac Studio,
the devices or machines may perform unexpected operation regardless of the
operating mode of the CPU Unit.
Before transferring project data, check the safety of the transfer destination slave.

Select Project - Check All Programs on the menu
bar.

The Build Tab Page is displayed.
Make sure that "0" is displayed for both errors and
warnings.

Select Project - Rebuild Controller on the menu
bar.

The dialog box on the right is displayed. Confirm
that there are no problems, and click Yes.

Make sure that "0" is displayed for both errors and
warnings in the Build Tab Page.

Select Controller - Online on the menu bar.
When the controller becomes online, a yellow-
framed area is displayed under the toolbar.

Select Controller - Synchronize... on the menu
bar.
