when you need to reduce the volume while watching a
movie late night. You can enjoy the effect only when playing
Dolby series and DTS series input signals.
0 The setting cannot be used in the following cases.
– If "3. Audio Adjust" - "Dolby" - "Loudness
Management" (ÄP59) in the Setup menu is set to
"Off" when playing Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby TrueHD
– When the input signal is DTS and "Dialog Control" is
other than 0 dB
Panorama: Broaden the sound field laterally when playing
in the Dolby Pro Logic Ⅱ Music listening mode.
Dimension: Adjust the depth of the sound field in the front
to back direction when playing in the Dolby Pro Logic Ⅱ
Music listening mode. Set a small number to move the
sound towards the front. Set a large number to move the
sound back.
Center Width: Adjust the width of the front sound field
when playing in the Dolby Pro LogicⅡMusic listening mode.
Set a small number to concentrate sound in the middle. Set
a large number to distribute the central sound out to the left
and right.
Dialog Control: You can increase the dialog portion of the
audio in 1 dB steps up to 6 dB so that you can make dialog
easier to hear over background noise.
0 This cannot be set for content other than DTS:X.
0 The effect may not be selectable with some content.
Center Image: Adjust the width of the front sound field
when playing in the DTS Neo:6 Music listening mode. Set a
small number to concentrate sound in the middle. Set a
large number to distribute the central sound out to the left
and right.
We plan to provide support for the Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
audio format through firmware updates for this unit. This
means that the selectable listening modes depend on the
version of firmware.
On firmware version before Dolby Atmos support
0 Panorama, Dimension, Center Width can be set.
On firmware version after Dolby Atmos support
0 You cannot set Panorama, Dimension, Center Width after
updating.
On firmware version before DTS:X support
0 Center Image can be set.
On firmware version after DTS:X support
0 You can set Dialog Control. (You cannot set Center
Image after updating.)
