What does it mean when “No Update” is displayed on the front display of my Onkyo TX-NR5008?
If “No Update” is displayed on the front display of your Onkyo Receiver, you do not need to do anything further.
Why does an error occur during the updating process on my Onkyo Receiver?
If an error occurs during the update process of your Onkyo Receiver, first, disconnect and then reconnect the AC power cord and try again. If the error persists, ensure that the Ethernet cable is properly connected, consulting the instruction manual for network connection details. Furthermore, verify your Internet connection by checking the IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, and DNS server configurations. Confirm that your router is turned on and that the receiver and router are connected with an Ethernet cable. Also, ensure the router's setup configuration is correct by referring to its instruction manual. If your network limits client connections, disconnect other devices.
