3.2. Options and Configurations
3.2.1. Base Configuration
The Sure Sort™ base system, shown in Figure 3-3, includes:
A Host computer:
- Microsoft
®
Windows10 pro /
64bit / 8Gb / Raid1 SSD
drives
Induct conveyor module
Stacker base module with bins
(available in depths of 4”, 7” and
12”). The actual amount and
size of bins will be determined in
the purchase agreement.
iBOTs (the actual amount of
iBOTs will be determined in the
purchase agreement).

3.2.2. Options
Optional enhancements include:
OPEX Barcode tunnel - an array of cameras meant to read barcodes from items
on the imaging conveyor, regardless of their orientation. Details on this option
can be found at “The Optional OPEX Barcode Tunnel” on page 94
.
Return conveyor module - used to return a rejected item back to the operator.
Items that come back are mostly items that were not scanned properly. The
return conveyor is motorized and moves items with a conveyor belt.
