5.3 Control Panel Operation Specifications
This section describes the operation of the control panel on the side of housing.

Tune
Automatically finds the optimum
exposure settings based on the current
barcode reading environment. When
tuning is finished, the barcode
symbology type is limited, and the
exposure settings are saved to the
current saved settings bank. The read
rate is also displayed on the LED
indicator.

Bank
selection
To display the currently used saved
settings bank on the LED, press and hold
the mode key for more than 2 seconds.
To cycle through the saved settings
banks, in order, press the mode key
again.
To select and use the currently displayed
saved settings bank, press the trigger
key.
Press both keys at the
same time for 5 seconds
to enter “initialization
standby.” Press the
trigger key again to
initialize.
Initialize
To enter initialization standby, press the
mode key and trigger key at the same
time and hold for 5 seconds.
To initialize, press the trigger key.
To cancel initialization standby, press the
mode key.
