5.4.2 Check and Replace Blade
① Stop the engine and remove the key from the engine
switch.
② Set the cutting height to the middle position with the
cutting height adjustment lever.
③ Fully open the Blade replacement side cover and fix it.
④ Check the attachment of the Blade and Blade stay.
⑤ Inspect the Blade and Blade stay for cracks, bends and
wear.
※ If it is in an abnormal state as shown below, change the Blade. The front and back of the
blade stay cannot be replaced. Replace all.
Reference︔
1) If you use it in a place containing dry soil or sand, check the Blade frequently because
the Blade will wear quickly.
2) We recommend that you purchase a set of spare Blades in advance and keep them at
hand.
If the Blade is not installed properly, the Blade may suddenly break and come off during
work, resulting in serious injury or injury to the worker or others nearby.
If not replaced, the Blade may scatter during work due to wear, deformation, damage, etc.
