Trouble-
shooting
Service problems that appear to be major can often be solved
easily. You can be your own troubleshooter by reviewing
this guide.
All other servicing should be done by an Oreck authorized
service center.
Problem Check Solution
Unit does not
turn ON.
• Power Cord
• Cover
• Plug in Power Cord.
• Make sure the cover is
securely closed.
No air is
blowing.
• Power Cord
• Is the power On?
• Plug in Power Cord.
• Press and hold the
POWER button to turn
On.
Airow speed is
weak.
• Filters • Check the lters.
Replace if necessary.
• Were the plastic bags
removed from lters?
Color of Mood
Light is always
the same.
• Light Purple,
Magenta, or Red
• Blue
• Adjust the sensitivity
of the air sensor to
insensitive or standard.
• Adjust the sensitivity
of the air sensor to
sensitive or standard.
Unit does
not capture
particles.
• Filters • Check the lters.
Replace if necessary.
• Unit may be damaged.
