Once your child has become skilled with the bike and you are condent in their riding ability,
you can begin transitioning between modes. For a smooth acceleration in modes 1, 2, and 3,
there is a 1.5-second delay implemented in the STANDARD PROGRAM.
RACE MODE
INSTANT THROTTLE RESPONSE
In RACE MODE, the twist throttle delay is minimized to just 0.1 seconds, resulting in an
instantaneous throttle response. Therefore, it’s crucial to ensure that your child has ample open
space in front of them to ride safely and avoid any potential collisions. To enable/disable RACE
MODE complete the following:
1. Make sure the bike is turned OFF.
2. Pull in the front left brake and keep it engaged throughout the entire process.
3. Power on the bike.
4. Turn the throttle ve times rapidly.
5. Release the brake.
6. Select the desired gear.
7. Race mode is now ready.
It is advisable for riders to gradually acclimate themselves to each of the gears/speed
settings, starting from walk mode (e12 only) and progressing through gears 1, 2, 3, and race
mode. It is not advisable to skip gears or advance a rider to higher gears unless they are
experienced and prepared to do so.
