10.3 Logic of the beeper
When the LED in the armrest is on and the chairlift will not move when controlled, the beeper will be
heard 1 second after releasing the control.
In this case one of the sensitive edges is controlled
The number of beeps gives the location of the controlled sensitive edge.
The location of the controlled sensitive edge is at the same side as the controlled direction.
• When 2 beeps are heard the safety cap of the drive-unit is controlled.
• When 3 beeps are heard the safety-plate of the footplate is controlled.
• When 4 beeps are heard the safety-cap of the chairframe is controlled.
(also check bottom of chairframe)
• When 5 beeps are heard the safety-cap of the endswitch is controlled.
This 5 beeps are only given when the chair is positioned on a endpoint.
Exception to the mentioned logic
There is one exception to this logic.
When the lift beeps one time in every 3 seconds the lift is switch off because of an internal over-
temperature.
In this case wait 15 minutes to try to move the lift again.
