· HARMONIZER
Harmonizer mode is a scale setting for Mono, Polyphonic and Multitrack Sequencer modes
(Followers), in which the pitch of the notes is taken from the active chord on a Chord Sequencer
(Leader) instead of their Sequencer itself. This works as follows: the rhythm and the pitch trend is set
on the Piano Roll of the Follower Sequencer, but the final pitch is based on the active chord
progression of the Leader
In this mode you are not only in key, but any changes applied to the chord sequencer will affect the
rest of the sequencers with Harmonizer on, for example, changing the scale, transposing the chord
sequence, or playing directly on the powerful Chord Keyboard. Transposing the Followers also keeps
the harmony.
To access it, set a Chord mode in any Sequencer, this becomes the leading chord sequence.
When you meet the condition above, the rest of the Sequencers will show HARMON as a scale
option on the leftmost slot, followed by “sq #” # being the number of the Sequencer with the Chord
mode; (note that the octave parameter is shown on the bottom right corner of the screen). Change
the scale to it and the respective Sequencer will follow the notes of the active chord progression on.
To change the “Leader” sequencer on any track, press SHIFT + turn the 4th knob (like for root note).
In order to keep the last chord played from the keyboard, the “Leader” Chord Sequencer has to be
deactivated/off. Keyboard hold works as expected.
If the “Leader” Chord Sequencer is running, playing a set of chords and the user triggers a chord in
the keyboard mode, the latter will have preference over the chords of the sequence.
