3.2-5 Manual slew support
In order to extend the stabilizer cylinder, they need to be in support position. Follow the sybsequent
procedure:
Follow all the safety instructions in Chapter 1.
Open the pin on the stabilizer cylinder. While
opening the pin, hold the stabilizer cylinder
constant..
If the stabilizer cylinder is not held constant while opening the pin,
there is risk of injury by down-slewing stabilizer cylinder.
Rotate the stabilizer cylinder carefully downward.
Make sure that no persons nor objects are in the
rotating area.
When you or another person are standing in the rotating area, heavy injures can
be the consequence.
Now close the catcher and make sure that the pin
locks properly.
Now the stabilizer cylinder can be extended.
