Dubbing with S-VIDEO Connector
When you wish to duplicate a S-VHS tape, two AG-7330 VTRs can be used for duplicating tapes (dubbing).
Connect the 4P S-VIDEO cable from the source side S-VIDEO Output Connector to the editor side S-VIDEO Input Connector.

eTurn both units “ON”.
@Turn TV Monitor “ON”.
eSet the EXT Timer Selector to “OFF”.
Clear the Tape Memory.
eSet the Sync Mode Selector as follows:

1) Place the recorded cassette in the source VTR and a blank
cassette in the editor VTR.
2) Push the Play Button on the source VTR.
3) Push the Record Button together with the Play Button to set
the editor VTR.
Editor (Recording) VTR; “NORM”,
Source (Playback) VTR; “INT”.
Insert acassette tape. Make sure that the tab is in place on
the editor VTR.
Set the Image Selector on the editor/source VTR to “EDIT”.
eSet the Input Signal Selector on the editor VTR to
“$-VIDEO”.
4) Push the Stop Button to stop the dubbing.

When an AG-7330 is used as both recording and playback
VTR, the connection shown above makes possible dubbing of
index signals, too.
The operation is the same as for ordinary dubbing.
Note:
Be sure to set the mode selector in the tape counter to VISS or
VASS when dubbing index or address signals.
