1.2 Leakage Current Cold Check

1. Unplug the AC power cord and connect a jumper wire between the two prongs of the AC plug.
2. Set the power switch of this monitor to the ON position.
3. Measure the resistance with an ohmmeter between the prongs of the AC plug and each exposed
metallic cabinet part on the monitor such as screw heads, connectors, and control shafts. When
the exposed metallic part has a return path to the chassis,the ohmmeter should read between 5
MΩ and 15 MΩ. When the exposed metallic part does not have a return path to the chassis, the
reading must be infinity.
