2. PROTECTION CONTROL FOR COOLING & SOFT DRY
a. Anti-Freezing Control
• When the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger becomes low, the compressor operating frequency is
reduced and stopped when the temperature falls to lower than 2°C continuously for 6 minutes. This is to
prevent freezing of indoor heat exchanger. When the temperature rises to 10°C or above, the compressor
restarts with 3 minutes. The compressor operating frequency will resume to normal when the temperature
reaches 14°C.
• Indoor fan speed will increase when the temperature falls and it will resume to original speed when the
temperature increases to 14°C for 5 minutes continuously.

b. Anti-Dew Formation Control
• When the following conditions occur for 20 minutes continuously, anti-dew formation is controlled:
1. Indoor intake air temperature is 24°C or above.
2. Outdoor air temperature is less than 30°C.
3. Remote control setting temperature is less than 25°C.
• During anti-dew formation control, compressor operates at 36 Hz (CS-G93KE) or 44 Hz (CS-G123KE) and
airflow direction vane move slightly (as shown in Airflow Direction Control). Indoor fan speed will shift as
below:
• This control is cancelled immediately when either condition 1–3 as written above is changed, or remote
control setting temperature or fan speed is changed.
