Connecting to a smartphone/tablet
You can easily establish a Wi-Fi connection on this unit without entering a password on
your smartphone.
[Wi-Fi Password] is set to [OFF] at the time of purchase. In [OFF] state, a third
party can tap into the Wi-Fi transmission and steal transmitted data.
To set [Wi-Fi Password] to [ON], refer to (→196).

• The information (SSID) required for directly connecting your smartphone to this
unit is displayed.
You can also establish a Wi-Fi connection on this unit by selecting the following menus.
Select [New Connection] in the [Wi-Fi] menu, and press [MENU/SET] (→61)
Use cursor button to select [Remote Shooting & View] and press [MENU/SET]
