3. Insert the vibrate motor into the holder and secure the motor wires under the cable management hook as shown.
4. Place the holder assembly in the location slots on the Main PCB. Connect the speaker plug into the socket marked ‘S’ on
the PCB and the vibrate motor plug into the socket marked ‘V’.
If preferred, connect the speaker and vibrate motor wires to the PCB sockets before locating the holder on the PCB.
6.3.4. Lower case reassembly
1. Connect the board-to-board flexi-strip to CN200 on the Main PCB.
2. Place the PHF cover onto the headset jack socket of the Main PCB.
3. Fit the keypad membrane and memo button into the lower case front.
4. Fit the hinge actuator (A) inside the upper case assembly and locate the hinge spigot (B) inside the hinge recess of the
lower case assembly as shown.
5. Feed the board-to-board flexi-strip into the slot of the hinge spigot, at the same time locate the central hinge (C) over the
hinge spigot. Twist the upper case unit until both sides of the hinge locate inside the case.
Ensure that the Main PCB is seated correctly inside the case assembly and that the board-to-board connector is still firmly
located.
